Apple cake

Like my original blog, i got to start off with my delicious, light Apple cake.
It takes some time to make, but it's all worth it in the end. All you need is just 5 ingredients.

What you'll need:

1 cup or 2 sticks & 1 tbls of butter
1 cup & 4 tbls of granulated sugar
2 cups of all-purpose flour
4 eggs
2-3 apples

Step by step:

Start by preheating your oven to 390F.
Prepare your cake pan with pan grease and parchment paper.
Put it aside and start by melting the butter on the stove on low heat.
When it's mented set it aside and let it get to room temperature.
Meanwhile in a mixing bowl start by mixing the sugar and the eggs for 20 minutes. it will become white and fluffy.

Peel and cut the apples in small pieces. You can keep some bigger slices aside to top the cake of right before baking it.
Add the melted butter to the egg mix.
Gently fold in the flour.
Add the eggs and stir well.
Pour all this in your cake pan and now add the apples you kept aside.
Lower your oven to 355F and bake the cake for 35 - 45 minutes
Gently stick a toothpick in the cake, if it's still wet bake 5-10 minutes longer.
Put the cake on a cooling rack and when it's slightly cooled take it out of the cake pan and let it cool all the way on the cooling rack.

Enjoy!
